๐ Your TikTok captions are doing seo work whether you meant them to or not
TikTok videos now surface directly inside Google's own results, in featured snippets, video carousels, and AI-generated summaries, not just inside the TikTok app.
Google indexes the text layer of a TikTok video, the caption, on-screen text, and increasingly the transcribed audio, and can rank that content on Google's own results page for a query that has nothing to do with TikTok as a platform.
Most teams write captions purely for the in-app algorithm and the scroll: short, punchy, built to stop a thumb. That's still the right priority for the For You Page. It's also incomplete, since the same caption now competes for a second, completely different kind of visibility most brand teams never considered when approving a script.
Treat your highest-intent videos as dual-purpose content
Not every video needs to carry SEO weight. Entertainment-first content built purely for reach doesn't need this treatment. Product reviews, comparisons, demos, and how-to content, the videos closest to a purchase decision, are worth the extra thirty seconds of thought.
For that subset, make sure the caption states clearly and completely what the video answers, in language that makes sense as a standalone Google search snippet, not just an in-app hook. The two goals aren't in conflict. A clear, specific caption can still stop a scroll. Pairing content like this with a real ads account, set up here, is what turns an organic winner into a funded push.
Say the keyword out loud, not just in the caption
TikTok increasingly uses the transcribed audio track for search relevance, on both its own in-app search and, downstream, whatever Google indexes from the same content.
For commercial-intent videos, have the creator state the product name and core use case in the spoken audio within the first few seconds, not only in on-screen text. This costs nothing in production and captures a ranking signal a caption alone doesn't fully cover.
Check whether your existing top-performing content is already ranking
Some of your best organic content may already be surfacing on Google without anyone on the team knowing, so there's a fast way to check before building a new process around it.
Search your product name and your best-performing video's core claim together and see what comes back. Where content is already ranking, that's the format worth replicating deliberately rather than treating as a lucky accident.
A caption used to be a caption. It's increasingly also a search snippet, whether the person who approved it knew that or not.

They Switched Platforms Before BFCM and Made $113K

For ecommerce teams watching software costs climb, switching sounds sensible until migration enters the conversation. Nobody wants the move disrupting revenue.
Ecom2Win faced that decision weeks before BFCM, when nearly one in six brands earns at least 30% of its annual orders. The agency moved its client to Omnisend anyway.
The outcome answered the biggest concerns:
- Migration was completed in 24 hours, with every automation rebuilt and checked within four days.
- Email generated $113,000 and accounted for 53% of the storeโs total revenue during BFCM.
- Omnisend plans can cost up to 35% less than Klaviyo, helping brands keep more of the revenue they generate.
More than 150,000 ecommerce brands use Omnisend, with customers generating an average of $79 for every $1 spent. Migration is free and can be completed within five business days.
Jocelyn breaks down how they moved without sacrificing peak-season revenue and why Omnisend was worth choosing before BFCM.
โก DTC keyword research should start with purchase intent

This framework argues that ecommerce brands should prioritize keywords based on buying intent and unit economics rather than simply search volume. Exact-match commercial terms can validate demand before brands expand into broader traffic.
Why it works: Starting with high-intent searches creates cleaner conversion data. Brands can then use search-term reports, CPC economics, negatives, and smart bidding to expand toward broader keywords with more confidence.
Where it needs balance: There isn't one universal match-type sequence or minimum conversion threshold. Phrase match can still be valuable, and upper-funnel searches can contribute to growth. The right structure depends on budget, category, conversion volume, and customer journey.
๐ฅ Reel of the Day

What Works:
Pain-First Hook - โPOV: youโre on a road trip but your stomach says NOW!โ starts with an awkward, instantly recognizable emergency instead of introducing the product. That gives Road Relief a strong problem-led hook before viewers know they are watching a product reel.
Disgust Creates Contrast - Showing an intentionally filthy rest-stop bathroom makes the alternative feel dramatically worse. By the time the portable toilet appears, viewers already understand why they might want it without Road Relief needing a long explanation.
Objections Answered Visually - Road Relief anticipates the obvious objections: Is it sturdy? Will it leak? Is it cumbersome? Where would I put it? Claims like the 400-lb capacity are paired with demonstrations of setup, lining, portability, and storage.
For a practical problem-solving product, don't immediately show what you're selling. Show the painful alternative first, intensify the frustration, reveal the product, then systematically demonstrate how it removes every major objection.
