đ¤AI is listening to Reddit
Reddit, LinkedIn, and YouTube ranked among the most-referenced domains by major language models in recent tracking, with Reddit becoming particularly important for queries where models want firsthand experience rather than another polished brand page.
Yet plenty of content teams still treat Reddit mainly as somewhere to monitor complaints, not a surface that can influence what AI eventually recommends.
That doesnât mean brands should flood Reddit. It means figuring out where genuine expertise would actually belong.
Find the problem community, not the biggest community
Searching for the largest subreddit containing your category name is usually the wrong shortcut. Start with the problem customers are trying to solve.
A skincare company, for example, might find far more useful conversations inside a subreddit devoted to a specific skin concern than a huge general beauty community.
For each candidate subreddit, look at the last 30 days and answer three questions: Are people asking purchase questions? Are specific products being compared? Do knowledgeable answers receive meaningful discussion?
If all three are happening regularly, youâve found a community that can influence decisions. Subscriber count becomes secondary.
Give two knowledgeable employees a boring six-month job
Not a campaign. Not a branded AMA. Not ten promotional comments dropped during launch week.
Pick two people who genuinely understand the category and have them spend time twice a week answering questions they can actually help with.
The rule is simple:
Question they can answer â contribute.â¨Brand naturally relevant â disclose the connection.â¨Competitor genuinely better for that use case â say so.â¨Nothing useful to add â donât comment.
A supplement company followed this kind of approach for six months, with employees answering dosage and comparison questions and occasionally acknowledging when competing products were better suited to someoneâs needs. The value wasnât manufactured brand mentions. It was building a history of useful participation around the exact questions buyers were already asking.
Watch for the moment the community starts doing the work without you
This is the signal worth saving month over month. Search the target communities for the brand name, then separate mentions into two buckets:

The second column is the one to watch.
If independent mentions begin climbing, the brand has moved from participating in the conversation to becoming part of the communityâs own vocabulary. Compare that trend with AI mentions and citations over subsequent weeks and months rather than assuming every Reddit mention immediately causes an AI recommendation.
Semrushâs AI Visibility Toolkit can help reveal which external domains are appearing around a brandâs AI visibility, making it easier to see when community platforms such as Reddit are influencing the sources behind category answers. You can try it for free for 7 days.
The goal isnât to make Reddit talk about the brand. Itâs to become useful enough in the right communities that eventually other people do.

⥠Meta and your CRM can both be right

This framework explains why Meta can report more conversions than appear under paid social in a CRM. Meta may credit people who viewed an ad and converted later through another channel, while the CRM assigns those same customers to their final identifiable source.
Why it works: Separating click-through from view-through attribution makes reporting easier to interpret. Instead of assuming one system is wrong, teams can understand what each measurement system is actually giving credit for.
Where it needs balance: A view-through conversion doesn't prove the ad caused the purchase. Some customers would have converted anyway. Use view-through data as supporting evidence, while incrementality tests provide a stronger measure of how many additional conversions advertising actually created.
đĽ Reel of the day

What Works:
1. The hook explains itself visually - A phone showing acne hovering above an empty product bowl instantly establishes the problem. No introduction is needed, so viewers understand the Reel before reading anything.
2. The transition carries the message - Dropping the phone into the bowl and replacing it with acne products turns a basic before-and-after into a satisfying visual metaphor: problem goes in, solution comes out.
3. The payoff completes the loop - The final phone displays clear, glowing skin in exactly the same position as the opening acne visual. That symmetry makes the transformation immediately understandable and satisfying.
Turn before-and-after into a physical transition. Show the problem on an object, make it disappear into your products, then bring that same object back displaying the desired result.
