Google I/O Just Changed Search. This Session Breaks It Down.

Your rankings look fine. Your traffic is quietly disappearing.
AI Mode doesn't send clicks anymore. It just answers, and whoever gets cited wins the buyer.
Chris Long co-founded Nectiv and has reverse-engineered AI citation patterns across hundreds of B2B content audits. He knows exactly why some content surfaces in AI answers while identical pages sitting above it in rankings get nothing.
On June 17th, he's breaking it down live in 60 minutes:
- The content signals AI Mode actually uses to decide what gets cited
- How to audit your existing pages for AI visibility gaps before Q3
- The refresh workflow that moves content from ignored to referenced
- How to measure real search presence when rankings stop telling the truth
The old rules are gone. This session covers what replaced them.

👀 Google just told you something. Most people are reading it wrong.
The sites losing visibility right now aren't losing because AI wrote their content. They're losing because ChatGPT can reproduce their content in ten seconds and Google finally stopped pretending that wasn't a problem.
That's a different diagnosis. And it leads to a completely different fix.
Run the replicability test first
Open ChatGPT. Type your page's core premise. Read what comes back.
If it reads like your page, you don't have an AI content problem. You have a differentiation problem. It existed before this update. The update just made it visible.
Run this test on every page that dropped recently. Then run it on your best-performing pages that haven't dropped yet. That second group is the one that should keep you up at night.
Triage before you recover
Every impacted page goes into one of three buckets before you touch a single word:
- Recoverable: Real unique angle, caught in the crossfire. Add one unreplicable signal. Resubmit.
- Consolidate: Commodity content sitting next to a stronger page on the same topic. Merge it. Move on.
- Remove: No differentiation, no recovery path. Pull it. Keeping it in the index is actively hurting the pages around it.
Traffic drop size doesn't tell you which bucket a page belongs in. The replicability test does.
Add unreplicable signals before the next piece gets written
This is where the actual recovery happens, not in fixing what dropped, but in ensuring what you publish next can't drop the same way.
Four signals Google cannot find replicated elsewhere and AI cannot fabricate without genuine input:
- Original data: Run a survey of your own audience, even 50 responses. One proprietary data point changes the entire differentiation profile of a page.
- Operational specificity: First-person examples with real numbers from your own business or clients. "We tested this across 12 accounts and saw X" is unreplicable. "Studies show X" is not.
- Named methodology: A proprietary framework with a name only you use. Competitors can describe similar concepts but can't claim your methodology without attribution.
- Interactive output: A calculator, diagnostic tool, or configurator that produces something personalized. AI Overviews can summarize static content. They can't replicate a tool that requires user input.
Build one of these into every brief before writing starts. Not retrofitted after the draft exists. Before.
Once recovery actions are live, track whether they're moving AI visibility alongside organic rankings. SEMrush's AI Visibility Toolkit shows visibility across ChatGPT and Google AI Mode so you're not flying blind on either surface. You can try it free for 7 days.
The update isn't the problem. Content that forgot why it existed is the problem.
⚡Subscription Growth Comes From Systems, Not Subscription Toggles

This framework treats subscriptions as an end-to-end retention engine rather than a checkout feature. Most brands focus on getting customers to subscribe, but the real leverage comes from offer design, onboarding, billing experience, and churn prevention working together. Every stage influences long-term subscriber value.
Why it works: Subscription performance is driven by trust and retention, not just initial conversion. Clear pricing, transparent controls, proactive communication, and strong onboarding reduce churn while increasing customer confidence and lifetime value.
Where it needs balance: Subscriptions are not the right fit for every product or buying behavior. Aggressive pre-selection tactics can increase short-term conversions while hurting trust and retention if customers feel manipulated. The best systems optimize both acquisition and customer experience rather than maximizing subscription rate alone.

This is what your calls should actually look like. Most people never find out

You're already good at this. But good means nothing when the person next to you is getting sharper after every call, and you're still guessing.
On Call gives you three things no one else at work will:
- Live guidance mid-call so you always know your next move
- A clear read on your blind spots so you stop carrying the same gaps into every room
- A running track of your growth so excellence stops being a feeling
The gap between good and great isn't talent. It's feedback. Start your first coached call free on Mac today.
Every call you take without this is a call you can't learn from.
🎥 Reel of the Day

What Works:
Rule-Breaking Affection Mechanic - Audiences enjoy watching harmless social rules get violated because it reveals human behavior normally hidden from public view.
Micro-Cheating Attention Pattern - Each bite creates anticipation around how far she'll push the joke, turning a simple interaction into escalating narrative tension.
Behavioral Recognition Trigger - Millions of people recognize versions of this exact interaction, creating instant emotional resonance through lived experience rather than creativity alone.
Stop manufacturing relatability. Capture real relationship dynamics, workplace friendships, or customer interactions because recognizable human behavior is inherently shareable.
